Domestic Grants
If you’re interested in investing in solar panels for your hOME, there are grants available from SEAI to help you manage the initial costs.
Sustainable Energy Authority of Ireland (SEAI) provide grants that can help you with the cost of installing Solar PV on your home. If eligible you could qualify for up €2,400 towards the cost of the installation.
€800 per kWp Up to 2kWp | You will receive €1600 for 2kWp solar panels (ie 6/7 solar panels) |
€250 for every additional kWp up to 4kWp if you get a battery. Total grant available capped at €2100 | For 4kWp: You will receive €2100 for 4kWp solar panels For 4kWp: You will receive €2100 for 4kWp solar panels. |
The grant is available to homeowners of dwellings built and occupied before 2021.
